18 sharp Solar Modules are mounted onto the existing Slate roof.

This installation is mounted onto the slate roof of Mr Gerald Hagon’s home in the small country village of Alston, North East England. Mr Hagon’s solar PV system will make a significant contribution to his annual electricity bill and he has often seen his electricity meter go backwards. Mr Hagon is also pleased that he is doing his part to save the planet and has encouraged his friends to look into Solar PV. The installation took one month from the point of initial contact through the order process and to the end of the installation. The energy is fed into the main electrical distribution board of the home so that it can be used for general household applications and Mr Hagon will save on average of £127.55 a year from his energy bills and will earn in excess of £750.00 per annum through the up and coming UK feed in tariff scheme.
