As part of its overall effort to become an environmentally advanced company, SUKM has realised that it cannot simply achieve good levels of environmental performance with respect to its products and operations.
SUKM has widened the scope of its activities and influence and has formed (and continues to form) numerous productive partnerships with local companies, schools, colleges and organisations, to work with them in areas of information sharing, education, environmental work and social aspects in order to improve facilities for, and the well-being of, the local communities.
By playing an active role in initiatives such as these, SUKM is supporting progress towards sustainable development and social improvements that will provide a better quality of life for the local communities for years to come.
