Ground mounted domestic installation

Solar Case Studies

An impressive domestic solar installation was been completed in the grounds of a large country house generating a massive 55,000 kWh /year.

An incredible 390 Sharp Solar Modules cover a 1/3 of an acre at this domestic residence.

Apollo Renewables installed this 70.2kWp grid connected photovoltaic system comprising of 390 x Sharp NU-180E1 monocrystalline modules for a domestic client with a large country house. To ensure that the visual appearance on the owner’s listed property would not be affected the system is ground mounted covering an area of approximately a third of an acre. The modules were installed using Renusol Consoles, these are recycled plastic trays that are held in place by ballast. The array is connected to 6 three-phase Fronius IG120 Plus inverters. Also installed is a G59 protection relay, a requirement of the Distribution Network Operator and often typical for systems over 16A per phase.
